I hope everyone enjoyed the lovely May weather when summer really seemed to take off. We had a stall at MorFest, the village festival on May 23rd when some new Friends signed up, thank you!

Our next event is :-

7:30pm in the church

Pimms n Pipes in the Pews!

An evening of music and merriment when Peter Gilks will tell us a little about the pipe organ and play some light music, Ian Barker will tell us about Northumbrian pipes and play some lively folk tunes and the alto group will exercise their pipes singing a little ditty!

After the music there will be Pimms or apple Punch and nibbles to enjoy in the pews, or if the weather is good outside in the churchyard, admiring the spectacular view over Dartmoor as Midsummer evening draws close.

There is no fee but donations welcome on the door or for refreshments.

Please encourage your friends and family to come along, it promises to be a fun evening to help raise more funds for our restoration project.

Future events planned are Autumn family puzzles in the village Hall (in October halfterm), as well as a candlelight concert for Christmas.

Saturday August 1st is Morchard Bishop family fun day and vintage rally and the church will have a stall there to raise funds if you would like to volunteer in any way Harvest Festival Sunday 4th October
